Why not?? Vikes second right now for draft pick, sos vikes 127 rams 132. Jags will lay down next to Indy, The jags won’t want to play Luck twice a year. Vikes loose out. and a little help with sos vikes number one. Or vikes loose out rams win one vikes first pick.

Just watch: the Vikes will win their last two games and end up picking seventh.

wtfvikes, Im with ya I pray to Tim Tebow that we get Luck but it wont happen. It would be a great move and smart… we are the vikings we will f this up.
Before all the haters out there start givin me a hard time I am still a viking fan but no team can f up a good thing like a minnesota team(see twins(cant beat yanks), t-wolves(cant win w/ kg or love), wild(gabby…). I am from MN and I accept that we will always fuck everything up.

Now I will say if we get the first overall pick and do ANYTHING with it but pick Andrew Luck I will have no faith in this organazation and become a college football guy… GO TROJANS!

What happened to Houston last night at Indy? Only caught the last couple of minutes. Shocking.

Indianapolis closes out with Freeney, Mathis & co. against rookie Gabbert. It should be a close game. Irsay/Polian must be beside themselves thinking of ways to lose to crummy Jack Jag. If Colt lose next week they are going to have to trade up because Luck is going #1.

Viking are seven point underdog at Washington. Like Handle, I’m picking ‘scrappy’ Vike. (OK, I’ve picked Vike every week but this time they’ve got a shot). After last week Vike are in a churlish mood. They’re going to do a beat down on dispirited Bear but may still end up #2. Panther may consider giving up #1 in 2013 to trade for Kalil at that spot.

Ram (15 point underdog) are absolutely destined to lose out. There’s nothing there. Its even money on Ram for 1st draft choice.

What happened last night at Indy was a call from NFL, Indy is going to win out. NFL wants Luck to Vikings. Vikings need a new stadium. Luck helps that big time, and NFL knows that. This is from the conspiracy theorists, all over blogs.

You know by now that Handle plays no favorites…

    Minnesota +6½ over WASHINGTON

Redskin in an unfamiliar role of spotting points, having done so just twice this season and succeeding only against the woeful Ram. Also note that Skin are out of playoff picture and the damage they did to the Giant last week was especially satisfying, thus creating a huge letdown spot. With a solid pass rush and RB Adrian Peterson back for second game since injuring his ankle, look for a scrappy effort from the visitor.

    Play: Minnesota +6½

    GREEN BAY –12 over Chicago

For the Bear, Caleb Hanie is out and Josh McCown is in. Big deal. Jay Cutler’s worst break was not to his thumb but that this wasn’t a contract year for him.

    • There was optimism that Cutler would be back for the playoffs.
    • There was optimism that Bear would actually be in the playoffs.
    • There was optimism Sam Hurd would be satisfied with his overly generous contract and not feel compelled to start a drug enterprise on the side.

The Packer won by 10 in Chicago way back in week three when ‘da Bear were starting to come on. Chicago is now virtually out of this thing when they looked like a lock to make it just a month ago. That’s mentally draining and they’ll come in here knowing they have no shot of winning. Chicago has been useless since losing Cutler and now facing their arch-rivals, off their first loss, expect the Packer to roll here against a team they hate and will have no mercy for.

    Play: Green Bay –12

Vike have comfortable five game Strength of Schedule advantage over Ram. Worst SOS wins so we want teams Ram have played to win and teams Vike have played to lose. Now, it would be great if Ram somehow beat Pittsburgh (-15)but at least we gain a game if the predictable occurs.

Here’s who I’ll be watching this weekend given my fascination with SOS:
    Giant (+2.5) over Jet
    Packer (-12) over Bear

    Buffalo (+3) over Bronco
    Charger (+ 1.5) over Lion

Looks like Jimmy K. will be retiring.

Good column by Pelissaro on how the 2004 injury changed Kleinsasser’s athletic contribution to game. We easily forget an injury like that but injuries have devastating effects.

Its not like Kleinsasser is an old guy either. But in today’s NFL 35 is pre-historic or at least 20th century, man. Solid player on offense. We’ll miss him.
