Ever since I got my Motorola Xoom, I’ve been on the hunt for those must-have football apps. I searched the Android Market for football apps, and it gave me nearly 8000 results! So I spent the past month playing with various football apps, and here are the five that made the cut:
1) NFL Mobile – I wrote a post about NFL Mobile when I first got the Droid Bionic. It’s the ultimate app for football fanatics, and it’s even better on a tablet!
2) NFL ’11 For Android Tablets – This is the official Android tablet app of the NFL. Watch on-demand NFL Network news, listen to radio broadcasts for every game, etc. It doesn’t get much better than this!
3) NFL Sunday Ticket – This app lets DirecTV subscribers watch live streams of every NFL Sunday Ticket game and Red Zone Channel.
4) EA Sports Madden 12 – Everyone’s favorite game is now optimized for Android tablets, and it’s a ton of fun. And it’s on sale right now for just $0.99!
5) Vikings Official NFL Clock – Official Minnesota Vikings clock widget with live scoreboard below the clock. (Shows news when no games are on)
