Erin Henderson Frustrated with Contract Talks

So it has seemed like the Vikings and Erin Henderson would come up with a contract sooner than later but it looks like contract talks might have stalled. Erin Henderson expressed his displeasure of negotiations last night on twitter. Erin had this to say “I’ve watched every single 1 of my games from last yr 10x’s over. I know what I’m worth. Not to mention they aint even give me an offer.” “Whats crazy is I’m not even asking for big money. All I want is respectable money for what I’m asked to do.”

The Vikings have made it known that they want to re-sign Henderson but want to make sure it’s at the right price. Coming up with a contract that works for both parties is sometimes the tough part. The linebacker market this year has been slow and all the top tier guys are still out there without contracts. So the Vikings could be waiting for someone else to set the market value but if they wait to long, another team could possibly snatch up the 25 year old linebacker.

I say we cut our losses if Erin wants to be overpaid and go after a marquee MLB like Lofton or Tulloch.. Then turn to the draft for someone to compete at weak side LB.. I think MLB is a big need for us that hasn’t recieved much attention..
