The Vikings have landed their biggest free agent signing of the year in my opinion as G/T Geoff Schwartz(6’6, 331 lbs) has signed a one year deal. Schwartz visit multiple teams but has decided to join the Vikings where he has a great shot to start at guard next year. He missed all of last season due to injury but prior to injury he was solid for the Carolina Panthers playing both right guard and right tackle.
The one year deal is more than likely a prove it deal and could potentially be a steal in free agency if he can re-gain his 2010 form.

I actually like this, big strong guy in the middle.
whats up with signing these guys that didn’t play last year due to injury?
Are they cheaper?
Hopefully he plays RT well enough to make Loadholt a after thought ~
Sounds like a good signing. However like most fans I feel we haven’t been agressive enough. If we had signed at least one sure starter at either OL or in the secondary I think I’d feel better.
