Percy Harvin to Have Shoulder Surgery

Percy Harvin posted on twitter that he found out he will need shoulder surgery. He also followed it up by saying that the recovery should be quick and he will be ready for OTAs.

Not going to lie, my heart stopped for a minute but with the little information we have right now, seems like it should be just a minor procedure. Even if Harvin isn’t ready by the time the off-season program starts(about 3 weeks), I would be ok with it as long as he’s not out for an extended period of time.

With Adrian Peterson likely to be limited early in the year, if he’s available at all, Harvin should be looking at a heavy workload and be relied on more in the offense.

UPDATE: Adam Schefter stated it’s arthroscopic surgery and just a “clean up.” Should be out only a few weeks.

What does the recovery time matter. That monkey won’t be practicing anyway
