I hope viking fans don’t freak out if the Vikes don’t draft Kalil
and opt for Blackmon or Claiborne.
The media slotted Kalil to the Vikings, and everyone bought into it.
Nothing against kalil, but these other guys are needs too.
Personally I hope you are right, I’m hoping for Blackmon myself, that’s the fastest way to get rid of Rick Spielman.
Blackmon is not worth the 3rd overall pick IMO and I don’t even think he’s the #1 WR in this draft. I think Blackmon can be a good receiver but he’s more of a RAC receiver when we need someone to take the top off the defense and win vertically. He could be a possibility if we trade down but I much rather have Michael Floyd.
K I as a viking fan I want them to draft Kalil… However trading back and taking one of the outher options is cool to if they trade back and only if.
it was very evident last season that the Vikings need o-line personal. There is no way Ponder or anyone else will survive this season without protection. That being said, the also need to get Ponder some weapons & there are a few good ones in the draft. As well, lets face it, need is also great in the secondary. The Vikings need work in many area’s, true there is only so many picks they have as well as talent avail in FA – all I ask for is that they use their picks, etc smart!!!!
I hope they take Kalil ad get Ponder all the protection possible…
so they can see that quarterback is still a problem
