Vikings Add Another Defensive Back to Mix’s Mike Wobschall announced the signing of defensive back Corey Gatewood. Gatewood is listed at 5’11, 188 lbs and played receiver and defensive back at Stanford.

After adding Gatewood, the Vikings roster is at 89 players and as Wobby pointed out, we have 17 defensive backs currently signed.

I’ll be the first to admit that I know nothing about Gatewood so if you watch Stanford football please fill us in below in the comment section.

  1. Lost Viking says:

    Welcome Corey Gatewood.

Watched replay of Tim Tebow against Viking last year. Although we don’t know anything about Gatewood he can’t be as brutally bad as Marcus Sherels and Jamarca Sanford in that game. Missed assignments, confusion, lackadaisical play, just awful.

Was impressed by Musgrave offense and Toby Gerhart running. Aromoshodu had best outing against Bronco. But before Ponder could toss game away the Viking D really disappointed. Front four wasn’t very good but D backfield and ST were dreadful. EJ Henderson played better game than his brother.
