  1. Lost Viking says:

Spielman has started trolling Waiver Wire looking for Safety and perhaps linebacker prospects. Tyrell Johnson types are available as short term replacements.

Wait a few days and there’s much more interesting talent available. Although not the stongest safeties aat least they’ll be Free.

But why not start calling around now offering late round draft choices for an established free safety of our choice? For teams with depth at the position a draft choice offer for a starter in last year of contract might be worth considering.

  2. Lost Viking says:

Established safeties who could solve Secondary problems, if available:

Thomas DeCoud – Falcon (actually he ‘Does’)so maybe William Moore instead.
    Sherrod Martin – Panther
    Bradley Fletcher (CB) – Ram
    Mike Mitchell – Raider

May be guilty of just throwing up names but you get the idea. Vike could throw in Sage Rosefels in trade for a Rashad Johnson. Cardinal may just be desperate enough
