Man are all these sports reporters picking the Lions going to have egg on their face. They’re analysts and they can’t see that Mighty Minnesota is now far and away superior to the Loins and most other teams. It’s going to take yet another convincing, decisive victory for the Vikings to finally get respect. This team is no surprise to the Vikings themselves or many of their fans who follow the team closely.I knew from training camp that the tide had turned.I noticed yesterday all the network media anylysts are picking Minnesota tomorrow. All three of ESPN’s Playbook NFC analysts pick Minnesota.Get with it guy. You’re still caught up in the 3-13 season of last year. This is a new team with a lot of new players and attitude.Skol Vikings.

Not so fast robb. Although I hope you’re right with your prediction with myself being a die-hard Vikings fan, Detroit will surely be up for this game. Being on their home turf, desperate for a win, let alone a division win, it’s going to be extremely tough for the Vikings to come out on top. We need to put a lot of pressure on Stafford, stop Calvin Johnson AND their run game, and keep their defense on their heels with long, sustained drives like we did against the 49’ers. A daunting task, to say the least. If we can get Adrian going again, to keep the defense honest, and complete some shots across the middle with some slants, and an occasional deep ball complete to Percy or Jerome Simpson, AND Ponder to continue to play at the level he’s playing at now, i.e.,no INT’s and good decision making, THEN we can win in Detroit. WE DO have the capability and the talent to do it. It’s going to be a blood bath, and a close game. I don’t see any blow-outs here, UNLESS the Vikings start to make a lot of mistakes and do not execute well. The one MAIN thing I see that needs to happen here is that our secondary plays well. Stafford can surely air it out when he’s on his game.SKOL VIKINGS!!

I think the Vikings have the momentum coming in. Take away Stafford with pressure, and they have nothing else. And ball control. We execute and display our new offense with added Simpson, Wright AND Carlson, and they fall apart. I went to a psychic in Detroit. She told me this.
