The vikings couching staff is at fault for their loss tonight. They do not know what they are doing. Need to fire them all…Ponder is not a play maker. I hope Zig realizes that!!!!!!!!!!

I said before the game (on this site) to not be surprised at an upset. I just didn’t think that it would be a blowout. It was an embarrassing loss for the Vikings, and they should not be proud of it in any way. Bill, you are correct in saying that Christian Ponder is not a playmaker, but you have to admit, in his own defense, he doesn’t really have anyone to throw to except Percy Harvin. Simpson fumbled a catch last night, and he doesn’t seem to be able to really create any separation either. I also said before the game that I thought the victory against the 49’ers was a fluke, and now I’m believing it more and more. The Vikings do not have what it is going to take to compete in the NFC North this year. They are going to get KILLED by the Bears AND the Packers later on this season, and probably by the Seahawks next Sunday. Their secondary still stinks, and the defense was just porous against the Buccaneers. That being the case, they surely won’t be able to handle the likes of Aaron Rodgers or even Jay Cutler. I’ve been a die-hard fan of the Vikings for forty years, and I really hate to say it, but they aren’t going anywhere this year. Not unless something really drastic happens. They really laid an egg against the Buccaneers last night, and I can’t help it, but I see that trend continuing to happen. Ponder, I think, is a joke, and Adrian Peterson and Percy Harvin cannot carry the team on their backs alone. It is a team sport, and 11 men must work together to achieve the same goal. I think they need some coaching, Vince Lombardi style, and a QB, even like Josh Freeman, that can actually get the job done. Sorry for rambling, but I am really pissed about the situation up there now, and about the blowout loss last night to the 2-4 Buccaneers.

Vikings need to get a bigtime wr before the trade deadline or at least put jarius wright in. Ponder needs someone to help him. The 49er game wasn’t a fluke, what is was, was the vikings playing good team ball. No turnovers, converting on 3rd down, going for it on 4th down and a great display of offensive protection and defense.

We beat the seahawks this week too. Upset of the week. But if we don’t get a wr we will be 8-8 at best.
