Peterson Comments About Wanting to Win the MVP Award

There’s been plenty of chatter about the MVP as of late, and Vikings RB Adrian Peterson is right in the thick of it with a 2,000 plus yard season on the horizon.

Peterson, whose never won the MVP, talked about it and how much it would mean to him if he was able to walk away with the award.

“The MVP, man, that’s something that I’ve always wanted to grab. I work hard. I want to be the best player to this game, so with that, MVP awards come,” he told The Associated Press. “But I know this league and how it is, man. They’re kind of biased to the quarterback, which is unfortunate. They make it hard for other players to win it, but I will.”
