An addition to the injury report: As of today, OLB Desmond Bishop – will not participate in the scrimmage. More info on that to come after the presser today…

However,  It’s good to hear that WR Greg Childs isn’t letting the emotion get to him in this years scrimmage tonight at Blakeslee Stadium where he torn both patellar tendons last year at this time. He sounds excited to be a part of the team. We should be excited to see if this kid can make the roster/practice team. He came to the Vikings with longtime partner-in-crime, WR Jarius Wright.  He was said to be the better of the two receivers out of college but hasn’t be able to show the team and the rest of the world what he can really do.

Personally – and you can argue with me on this one – I don’t think he has what it takes to compete with the talent we have at the WR position this year. However, on the positive side, the coaching staff thinks otherwise or else they wouldn’t have him at camp.

With that said, I trust Frazier and Co. on most, if not all, decisions because they are the pros and know what they are dealing with. We have a very good medical and training staff. I wish everybody luck and pray that we don’t have any more injuries until the end of the season. But one day at a time… let hope for the best in tonight’s scrimmage!
