That is a really awful list of injuries for the Vikings. I hope everybody is doing better and wells up by Sunday.
Now, as has become mine and my daughter’s mantra by way of endless parroting: GO VIKINGS!!!
Something had been telling me that the injury list was going to get longer. Hell, it’s the nature of the game. I KNEW KW wouldn’t play tomorrow and Viking fans can only hope that Sharif Floyd is up to this daunting task. Somebody HAD BETTER BLANKET Calvin Johnson. Robinson, Cook, Rhodes, Smith…SOMEBODY..ANYBODY, had better do a number on him, AND somebody had better keep their eyes
peeled for Reggie Bush coming out of the backfield for screens and other check downs, AFTER HE FAKES A BLOCK.
The D- line has to push HARD to get Detroit’s o-line on their heels, and GET TO STAFFORD!! If he scrambles, the corners have gotta come up and stop him before he can inflict serious damage, OR EVEN THE BACKERS
should be there to keep him from slinging one to an open guy DEEP.
IF THE VIKINGS (Ponder showing us this improvement he’s been blabbing about ) EXECUTE…Purple Jesus
does his thing, and the D gets to Stafford, keeps R Bush and Megatron in check ( for the most part), then the Vikings can make all of these so called “sportswriters” eat some crow and make all of the naysayers curl up in a corner and shut their mouths, ( at least for this week ). Hey, it’ll be a helluva good start to the 2013 season. SKOL VIKINGS!!!
