The Vikings have moved to wrap up one of their potential free agents by signing defensive end Brian Robison to a contract extension. In addition, it is reported that the team is presently in negotiations with Jared Allen and has made an offer to Everson Griffen which has been turned down as “Not in my ballpark”.
Robison, known as a pass rushing defensive end has 31 sacks in seven seasons, and has become an integral part for the Vikings defense.
Terms of the agreement are as follows: The deal is a four-year, $28.3 million contract that includes $13.15 million guaranteed and a $5 million signing bonus. The team hasn’t released details, but a person with knowledge of the contract was quoted on condition of anonymity.
