Previewing the 2014 Minnesota Vikings Schedule Release

Denver Broncos v Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings need to get more consistent at defense and under center, but as long as they have running back Adrian Peterson, they have a shot at making noise in 2014. They’ll absolutely need to answer some questions to get that done this year, but with new defensive-minded head coach Mike Zimmer on board, they appear closer to doing just that.

Minnesota’s 2014 success likely hangs on how they handle their road schedule, as they were brutal away from home last year with a horrid 0-7-1 finish. In 2014, trips to New Orleans, Tampa Bay, St. Louis, Buffalo and Miami should make marked improve fairly difficult.

The Minnesota Vikings schedule at home unfortunately won’t be much easier, as they’ll be welcoming the Panthers, Falcons, Redskins, Patriots and Jets to their home fie
