Jerome Simpson Suspended 3 Weeks

The NFL on Friday morning upheld its’ suspension of Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jerome Simpson. Simpson had appealed the suspension about two weeks ago in New York City.

Simpson was arrested in November 2013 for driving under the influence and refusing to submit to a chemical test. He avoided jail time in a plea deal.

This is not the first time Simpson has been suspended. He was suspended two seasons ago on marijuana charges, missing three weeks.

He’ll miss the first three games of this season.
