I think I rather be a nursing home for great players towards the end of their career, than the jerk off rag for these young guys that blow their load the day they sign that contract and buy their Hummer. A Farve and a Harrison would be a couple more of the pieces to the puzzle!!! Sign Marvin, Rice could be great, but is to busy being a punk, Marvin made his mistake and could be a great teacher of the game to these young guys!

i hope we dont end up being a nursing home like the raiders were for so many yrs! so good to read about something other than favre! #4 all the way to the SB and win the damn thing this time…i had to watch the first 4 bombs and it was hell broke my heart all 4 times.

You make really good points here, and I agree that the speculation of Wilf selling the team right now, although you could argue for it, seems pretty silly. Why would any good business man try selling a cash cow of an NFL team when things get a little bumpy? With 7 other owners trying to do the same thing, the supply is far greater than the demand for the team here.

Wilf will wait. He may sell in the future, but I think the signing of Brett Favre and now Marvin Harrison reaks of a business move as well.
