Im gonna miss Udeze this season I was hoping to see him and Allen playing on the line opposite each other Then it would be the greatest D-line in NFL history

Cody,

Thanks for the comment - the team already landed Bernard Berrian in the offseason, and while Williams would be a boost as well, I think they are okay for now at the position with Berrian and Rice. Williams would come at a cost, and I would like to see them keep their picks for depth for the future.

Thanks!
Matt Loede

I think the Vikings need to beef up the receiving corp a little more. And the man we need to grab is not Chad Johnson hes a distraction like most big name receivers he's a "diva". The man we need is the Detroit Lions WR Roy Williams who is being shopped currently. He has a great combo of size speed and moves as well as great instinct to know where the ball is.

I'm sure he will return, possibly before the end of this next season. And I think Chilly just dont want anyone to sign him away because this way they can get another Defensive end and still have the chance to resign him at their beckoned call.
But as of right now, he still needs some TLC with that knee. In time, he will be fine and ready to go.

Erasmus will be fine in another year of rehab. If he's still hobbling around don't be to concerned with it. This kind of injury is serious and it takes a long time to heal.
For one, he should have never been put on the field last year as the evidence proved he was still injured and his wound was tender enough for him to get injured again.
Secondly, he should have been worked into rotation slowly by at least the late quarter of the season and not any sooner.
The players will and desire to play is phenomenal, they must get out there to play even if they have to lie about their health, I don't blame them either. But one things is for certain the, the teams all need a second Doctors opinion thats unbiased on whether or not a player can go out to play in an instant as this.

Lets say; If Erasmus wasn't injured here for a moment, He would be the living terror of the leauge,... no doubt about it, we had our chance to have our own Micheal Strahan or Julius Peppers. He was that such a player until he was hurt. If Chilly has any smarts left in his peanut, he would sideline him for most of this season and bring him back for the last few games and give him a chance again.
The reason I say this is because Ive had 4 surgerys on my left knee, and after 2-1/2 years I can run, push my wifes car out from being stuck in snow and can even play a little basketball. I can run fast enough to catch my dog, if hes willingly going to let me. Of'course Im no spring chicken and am not any good playing football, but id know better if somebody told me I could do it and was ready that early.
Anyway, I wish him luck in his future, hes a rich man now, but thats about all. He can always say; I was a Minnesota Viking.
