Allen Back To Practice, Harvin Out Again

After a preseason like the Vikings have had, fans are bound to twitch every time they hear that a player missed practice.  When Jared Allen didn’t practice yesterday, it was only natural for fans to worry that he was kidnapped by aliens, came down with some virus that has been dormant for a million years […]

Camp Breakdown: Day Five (Morning)

[Editor’s Note:  While I am not going to include every source link, please note that all the sources consist of the sites (and Twitter accounts of their writers) that are featured in our blogroll on the right hand side of this page.] Well, despite the Favre drama, there are still 80 other guys worth talking […]

Unnamed Opponent Slams McKinnie, Other Vikings

The Sporting News is busy counting down to training camp by breaking down each roster and trying to provide a unique preview of sorts. For example, middle linebacker Jasper Brinkley has their vote for breakout player of the year for the purple and gold.  Also, they predict that without Favre there is virtually no chance […]

MLB Jasper Brinkley Showing Improvement

Pro Football Weekly reports that MLB Jasper Brinkley is showing improvement: Vikings MLB Jasper Brinkley, who showed steady improvement in replacing E.J. The Vikings ended the 2009 season ranked 2nd when it came […]

That’s right, the Vikings blew by the Bengals today, winning by a margin of 30-10.  While more detailed analysis will come later, here are some […]

Previewing The Bengals

This week I don’t have much good news in my preview.  Not much good news at all. Some people may view this as an overreaction to the Cardinals game last week, but this is more based off of the fact that the Vikings have more unknowns about their team heading into this week than they […]

Short Term & Long Term Impact Of E.J.’s Injury

It is too early to know much about the long-term prospect of E.J. Henderson returning or not returning to play football for the Vikings.  Not all the news is horrible, like this story (thanks for the link Fran) in which a doctor says Henderson could easily be back by training camp. Now, I am always […]
