Taylor to Get Moved This Offseason to the Pats?

Talk about roster moves, the Vikings may have to dump RB Chester Taylor this offseason if they want to try and get QB Matt Cassel. Here’s an interesting report from today’s Pioneer Press about a move to possibly move Taylor:

In an attempt to get Matt Cassel, some people believe the Vikings would have to trade running back Chester Taylor and a first-round draft pick to the Patriots. Taylor has one season left on his contract, then would be free to leave. If he were traded, the Vikings would have to pick a running back high in April’s draft as a backup to Adrian Peterson.

I can’t see New England trading Cassel this year. He’s too valuable, especially considering that Tom Brady is coming off of a serious injury. I’m not a Patriots fan, but they’re too smart for that. They don’t want to be put in a position where Brady isn’t the quarterback he once was and Cassel is starting for somebody else.
