Brett Favre is being looked at on the sidelines, Adrian Peterson lucked out on two fumbles, and Favre threw a pick on a play that would’ve drawn five flags if it were Jared Allen making the low sack.
The time is now for these Vikings.
Here are the keys for the fourth quarter:
- STOP THE RUN: The Saints have been doing very well running against us. It is time to put an end to that. Jasper Brinkley and Chad Greenway need to do a better job of sticking to their assignments.
- HOLD THE BALL: Adrian Peterson will be one lucky dude if the team makes it to Miami. With Favre banged up and with it being a close game, the Vikings will still need him and that means he needs to hang on to the ball. Hopefully he is done letting that ball hit the ground.
- SHIANCOE: The Saints are playing defense like the Vikings, which means the middle of the field is wide open. Favre needs to stick with Visanthe Shiancoe as his primary target for the rest of this game. Moving the chains is what matters most right now.
Daddy! You shouldn’t have said that to Todd at 9:28 ! I’m shocked !
Adrian said the Saints earned a lot, but we gave away too much with the five turnovers. 5 times 7 equals 35 points. Yuck.
Zigi needs to fire childress tomorrow, and put in Farzier as head coach!!!!!!!!
