Kennedy To Visit Bills

NFL Network reports that Vikings free agent defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy will be visiting the Buffalo Bills tomorrow.

The Bills have a gaping hole at defensive tackle and it would not be a surprise to see them overpay to acquire Kennedy.

Many fans would have preferred the Vikings retain Kennedy after a solid 2009 season, but as I have said before, his original unhappiness with having to play in Minnesota was a big red flag that he’d want to head elsewhere as a free agent.

The only question left is… why the hell would he pick Buffalo?

His original uhhappiness subsided very quickly. I still remember the interview I saw with him really praising Frazier and Dunbar and teammates. The Bills will definately have to overpay him to get him. Hope Bills arent still pissed about us getting big Pat away from them.

I bet the Bills will overpay him… Any team that signed Terrell Owens is obviously lacking common sense in the front office.

    Why Buffalo? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Let’s not lose this guy. If he goes, Vikes will go DT in round 1.

It has to be the money, The chance of getting the Ring doesn’t matter to him.

Buffalo would bring home closer to the family, Yonkers NY…

Money and family is my guess…

Geesh, I gotta agree with Freds again. And Charlie he’s just visiting, probably trying to establish his value.

Johnny, I just hope he is still a Viking when it is all said and done…

I just don’t see the Bills over paying for anything this year. Perennially the Bills are one of the lowest payrolls in the NFL. They are having a very hard time getting the extra payroll that comes out of the jersey, luxury box, and consession sales. They are trying gimics like playing in Canada to widen their fan base, in my opinion they are alienating their real fans. They are also having problems selling out their games. Kennedy signing with the Bills will not be going to put any fans in the seats.
With the NFL being uncapped this year, one of the teams that will be breaking the former spending cap floor will be the Bills. IMO!
