If Not A Vike, Then Perhaps A Jet?

Ladanian Tomlinson does not appear to have arrived at Winter Park as of this posting, despite having a downtown dinner with the Vikings brass last night.  Many assumed he would be working out right away this morning.

Also, ESPN reports that if the Vikings don’t sign L.T. today then he is scheduled to visit with the Jets tomorrow.

Perhaps the Vikes should let him go to the Jets until they run him out of town and he retires to get out of his contract… and then sign him so that he can have the best season of his career.  Deja Vu?

In all seriousness, at least it is just the Jets and not the Packers or something.  That’d put the team in a much more high pressure situation.

UPDATE:  L.T. has arrived at Winter Park.  It is expected that he’ll take a physical, complete a workout, and that negotiations will begin.

I like L.T. always have always will and I think he may fit in well with our boys. However, I don’t think we are in all out need of him. He would be a nice addition no doubt. I feel like we’ll be fine with or without him. Side Note as if you guys didn’t already know this was coming… I like the kid who wears 21 now just saying…
