Happy April Fool’s Day

April Fool’s Day has become a traditional past time amongst football bloggers.  Even I considered writing an article about the Vikings signing the guy who played Michael Oher in The Blind Side to a two year-deal, or about Gregg Rosenthal actually being Mike Florio’s child, or how Adrian Peterson decided to retire from football to pursue a career in the other type of football.

I didn’t, and I won’t.  I wanted to spare you the effort it would take to groan while reading such a thing.

However, on a day when reports are floating around that the Vikings are close to signing Jeff George, that an unknown wide out from Mesa State ran a 3.9 40 yard dash, and that the Packers actually think they have a shot at the division title this year… just remember, it is April Fool’s Day.

Did anyone else the interview on the radio today with Darius Reynaud? Dude indicated that the Vikings had moved him to running back.

I don’t know. . .I was thinking, “yeah, Jeff George, maybe. . .and there could very easily be some pretty fast dude out of Mesa. . .”
