Ray Small Is Gone

According to my CBSSports.com fantasy site (how’s that for a source!), the Vikings have waived wide receiver Ray Small on Wednesday.

Small joined the Vikings as an undrafted rookie out of Ohio State.  In two preseason games he managed four catches for 43 yards.

His only real shot at making the team was if he could prove to be an explosive enough return man to displace Darius Reynaud.  In those two preseason games, he never got the chance to return a punt or a kickoff.

Now we are just left with Ray Big (Mouth) Edwards. Haven’t heard much from him this camp. Has he learned a lesson, or is everyone just ignoring him?
