Harvin Is A Surprise Addition To Injury Report

For the most part, the Vikings seem to be getting healthier.  I was surprised, however, when I saw receiver Percy Harvin on the report with a hip issue.

Here is the Vikings full injury report

Limited participants included Harvin (hip), CBs Chris Cook (knee) and Cedric Griffin (knee), DT Jimmy Kennedy (knee), and left tackle Bryant McKinnie (finger).

The players that participated fully but were still listed were QB Brett Favre (ankle), RB Toby Gerhart (knee), and C John Sullivan (calf).

The Dolphins Injury report had DE Ikaika Alama-Francis (illness), LB Channing Crowder (groin), and DE Jared Odrick (ankle) not practicing.  No other players were listed, and we already noted yesterday that Jared Odrick is not expected to play Sunday.

Hope he is ready to go Sunday, They really need him…

  2. Fragile Freds says:

Greetings to all of Freds cranky, whiney, downtrodden, the sky is falling pals,

Freds was not able to see the Saints game live and won’t be able to see the Dolphins game live either, but after reading some of your comments from the game, you’d think the season is over. Step back from the ledge, get back in the easy chair, settle down, grab a Colt 45 and relax. Coach of the year Brads has everything under control, except for the fact the either he or Banjo forgot to call a few run plays in the second half. What was with that?

Freds thinks we learned a few things from that game:

1)Banjo is a jackass. I guess Fred knew that but far be it for your old pal to pass up the obvious. The guy looked rusty, old and southern fried. Maybe if this richard would have thought more about his team and being ready for game one, things would have been different. Training camp would have helped…a lot.

2)Adrian is ready to play. Overall he looked good; they just need to use him.

3)The offensive line is who we thought they were, slightly below average.

4)Teams will be blitzing Favre all day long, all season long. He is a statue and until he actually beats someone off the blitz, dude will be getting trashed.

5)The defense looks good except for Pat. We can expect old fatso to be getting less and less reps. Freds guy has been on a slow decline and the slide continues this year. A good guy, not much left however.

6)Phil Loadholt will be our left tackle next year, though he looked rough at times replacing injured Brian the cart rider, Loadholt is mean and he cares. We don’t see a lot of that on the offensive line and he will learn the position. We darn well better get some offensive line help next year.

    7) Freds would like to fist fight Ole for the ass whipping he put on Freds in fantasy football league last week.

    8) Childo is still bald

The Saints are a very good team both on offense and defense. Our guys played pretty well, not great. No need to panic. Buds this means you.

    • B. Grant says:

Panic? Freds, c’mon, I’ll be the LAST one here to panic, and you know it. But I must say that I may have the fewest years left of anyone on this train to get to see the first championship, so let’s, uh… get at it, OK?

We sorely lacked offensive preparation for that game Freds, that’s all I’m saying. And whether it was Darrel or Brad making in-game decisions… all I can say is “huh”?

The Media had a fork stuck in us last week, Your right,I’m done crying… lol, I feel better about this game than last weeks…

  6. Minchin says:

We can’t lose any wideouts for this game! Do we even have anyone else to return kickoffs??

  7. Viking John says:

Freds if you think Ole layed the smack down on you, wait till you play the Sioux.
One little bump in the road.
