One of the Vikings four receivers, Percy Harvin, was unable to practice on Thursday due to a bruised hip.
When Brad Childress appeared on KFAN Radio, there seemed to be confidence that Harvin would be good to go for Sunday’s game.
Cornerbacks Cedric Griffin (knee) and Chris Cook (knee), defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy (knee) and left tackle Bryant McKinnie (dislocated finger) were all limited during Thursday’s practice. Quarterback Brett Favre (ankle/back), running back Toby Gerhart (knee) and center John Sullivan (calf) were all listed on the report but were able to fully participate.
Defensive end Ikaika Alama-Francis (illness), linebacker Channing Crowder (groin) and defensive end Jared Odrick (ankle) all were unable to participate in the Dolphins Thursday practice.
NFL.com is already making a big deal out of this with a headline that reads “Harvin’s Status Uncertain.” Good lord…
The Vikes fully expect Harvin to play, and Frazier even said that Cook and Griffin could get in if they look sharp in friday’s practice.
I’m excited to see Toby “The Albino Rhino” Gerhart get a couple carries.
So, I have a question for you all… Fantasy related. You think I start Favre or Vick at QB this weekend?
