Harvin And Leber Are Possible Casualties

The last things the Vikings needed was to add injuries to insult, following their loss to the Miami Dolphins today.

That may be exactly what has happened, unfortunately.

Percy Harvin was seen paying attention to his hip after attempting to make a downfield block during Sunday’s game.  His status is not certain right now, but we do know that he will undergo an MRI on Monday.

If Harvin cannot play next Sunday, the Vikings will only have three healthy receivers on the roster even if they swing a trade for Vincent Jackson who is currently suspended.

Ben Leber also left the game with a back injury and the extent of his injury is also unknown.  Erin Henderson filled in for Leber and produced pretty well, including a fumble recovery which resulted in the Vikings only touchdown.

Seems like Erin Henderson has quite a nose for the football. I don’t want to see Leber hurt, but I would like to see Erin get a chance as a starter. I like that guy.
