Probably trying to get a lot of interest in his client, agent Drew Rosenhaus says that possible Vikings free agent to be Sidney is in awesome shape – this after he beat the agent in a bunch of 300-yard shuttles.
Agent Drew Rosenhaus tweeted on Monday afternoon that he “(j)ust got destroyed by Sid Rice in (four) 300(-yard) shuttles. Any doubt regarding his hip injury is erased. He is in the best shape healthwise ever!” That Rice could beat his 44-year-old agent in a footrace isn’t exactly news, but the message — Rice is healthy — is notable in large part because the 24-year-old receiver’s balky hip has been the subject of speculation for nearly a year. Last July, Rosenhaus defended Rice after his absence from a summer camp run by former NFL receiver Cris Carter, tweeting that his client “does have a lingering hip injury that he suffered in the play-offs. Sidney does not anticipate that this injury will require surgery and he’s hopeful that he will be fully healthy for the start of the season.” Instead, Rice was placed on the physically unable to perform list at the start of training camp, underwent surprise surgery in late August and ended up playing in only five games for the Minnesota Vikings, recording 17 catches for 280 yards and two touchdowns amid speculation he was unhappy with his contract.
the only way this would be remotely fair or relevant is if rosenhaus was on a dirt bike. just an excuse to make some advertising noise
More like Drew Blowsenhaus. BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Hate that guy…
Does anyone really believe anything old Drew says anymore? Cal’s right, just a cheap advertising ploy.
Why are agents, in particular this rosenhaus guy, such vermin. I really hope rice returns, a fit healthy and motivated rice would do wonders for whoever we have a qb, because by god we need all the help we can get this year. Every team in the division seems to be making huge strides. I wish this lockout would end soon (with the old rules so we can keep rice), I’m really interested to see what musgrave can do with this offense.
He is not hurt because he is not playing or practicing with any contact.
Hope he is Healthy as quoted, I don’t trust anything Rosenhaus says…
Valuable information. Fortunate me I found your site by chance, and I’m stunned why this coincidence did not happened in advance! I bookmarked it.
