A blood disorder sent Sage Rosenfels to the hospital in August, and he said in a statement that he hasn’t fully recovered.
“When I first joined the Dolphin, all tests showed that I was healthy and ready to go,” Rosenfels said. “But after practising for a few weeks, especially in the heat, some new indications made it obvious that I need to rest and allow my body to regain all requisite strength.”
Dolphin = Disaster
Vikings get a roster exemption from NFL for Cook.
Vikings looking for a corner to fill the position.
Butch Lewis practice squad addition.
Kerry Taylor practice squad addition.
Viking do not travel well and seem to have some sort of aversion to grass fields.
Vike will be playing the remainder of the season with a rookie QB.
Vike have given up on three veteran starters on offense last two weeks (QB, OG, WR).
Vike have lost three veterans from an already weak secondary.
Vike have lost their best special teams player on units playing poorly.
Can this team win three games of remaining nine? Upcoming Panther game is going to go a long way to determining 2011
I have to agree with you. If we beat carolina the talk will become can we upset the bears/lions/packers, where as if we lose its time to start talking full implosion, and leaving denver as our last winnable game. Chris has a big game this weekend and could determine a top 3 draft pick (luck, kalil) or a 5-12 draft pick (jeffries, martin, reiff, kirkpatrick). last week was christian ponders coming out party this week is his defining moment if you can lead the vikings to several more wins this year becoming our quarterback for years to come or if he loses he could lose favor quickly, reigniting the suck for luck chants.
vikes win big in Carolina, bye the following week, and 8 game win streak to sneak in the back door with a wildcard spot……
Im gonna say this again, once and for all….
ANYONE who chants “suck for luck” IS NOT A VIKING FAN.
That mess really pisses me off. In my 35 years as a Viking Fan, I have never, not one time ever rooted for them to lose a game. It will never happen here. Draft Picks come and go, some hit, some miss, but to ever suggest that losing is a better option than winning is a capital offense.
Im done now….
SKOL brothers!

Those people clearly know nothing about the game. Do they really think Ponder is going to throw away a chance of a lifetime? They all want that big fat contract someday and are not going to play bad for next years draft…All the young guys on the team are getting lots of playing time on film, and thats good for the resume. Not 1 player on any team in the NFL is going to sacrifice losing their job because they are sucking for luck…..Its insane and whoever started that phrase is an idiot…..period….
if this was any week we need Winfield this would be it so he can blitz like he did against the Eagles so he could stop Cam Newton
I’m hoping that every time Ponder throws a TD, the camera cuts to McButthole doing his feigned interest golf clap. That Sh*t’s golden.
Injury Update – Tarvaris Jackson
Felt pretty good in warm-ups last Sunday and that he’s progressed throughout the week. He was able to throw some deep passes during practice and said he doesn’t expect to be limited in the passes he’ll be able to throw if he plays Sunday.
“It’s been making the jump each day so hopefully I get that same jump tomorrow that I’ve been getting. If it makes that jump like I think, I should be fine,” Jackson said.
For all those who anticipated Tarvaris Jackson injury updates to be significant factor in 2011 … hee hee.
“Bengal defense chased Charlie Whitehurst from the game early. They gave up a lot of yards to Tarvaris Jackson, but made the key stop or forced a turnover when they needed to”
Another nice day for T-Jax.
So why isn’t Childress’ name being mentioned for Dolphin, Colt, Jaguar coaching jobs??
