Percy Harvin Says He Won’t Hold Out of Camp

The verdict is still truly out about if receiver Percy Harvin is going to show up at training camp or not when it kicks off later this month.

Harvin made headlines when he said that he wasn’t happy with things, and said that a holdout was being thought out by him during minicamp.

The Vikings have already stated that Harvin isn’t going to be moved, and now there’s word that he isn’t going to holdout either.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Friday that Harvin isn’t planning a holdout, and he will report and play for his salary this season, which is $915,000.

Right now the WR has two years left on his rookie contract that will pay him the $915,000 this year and $1.55 million in 2013.

The best way to get a raise is to show up and play well, and if Harvin can do that, he will find his payday that will keep him happy soon enough.
