Not a lot to report today about Vikings running back Adrian Peterson’s trip to Houston for a court outing.
Peterson made his court appearance Monday Morning in connection with his July 7th arrest on charges of resisting arrest.
Yet little of significance happened as the prosecution requested more time to review the case, with pre-trial dates then set for Sept. 27 and Nov. 15.
Peterson is due back in Mankato tonight and should return to the field Tuesday to resume his off-to-the-side rehabilitation work on his left knee.
Peterson is also unlikely to miss any future time with the team due to his legal proceedings. If his case lasts until the next court date, Peterson will not be required to attend. The subsequent November date would occur during the Vikings’ Week 11 bye.
