If Vikings Go Corner… Don’t Get Your Hopes Up Too High

It doesn’t take much mock draft perusing to see that the consensus choice for the Vikings first round pick seems to be cornerback (especially if you disregard all those bozos that think Clausen falls to them at 30.) The Vikings need for cornerbacks is both on a short-term and long-term level.  Most reasons given for […]

Cedric Griffin is coming off of easily his best season of his career. Over the last year and a half, Griffin has improved to the point where he is getting a name for himself as a great tackling corner, and had a career high four interceptions in 2009. There will be a set back, however, […]

Griffin May Be On First 2010 Injury Report

E.J. Henderson’s leg isn’t the only injury we will be monitoring throughout the offseason. Early indications are that Cedric Griffin suffered a torn ACL and possibly a torn MCL while covering a kickoff late in Sunday’s loss. These injuries can have very lengthy rehab periods, and Griffin’s availability for 2010 is already a question mark.

Open Thread: Second Quarter

Well, that was a solid start.  Here are the main points from the first quarter: ROMO’S JITTERS:  Romo put the ball on the ground twice, and threw a few errant passes.  Ray Edwards is having a nice game, and that defensive line needs to keep after him and keep him out of his rythm. TACKLING:  […]
